Rubau Polska Sp.z o.o. was founded in May 2011. All of the company’s shares are owned by Construcciones Rubau, S.A. By creating a new company in Poland, Rubau has expanded the geographical scope of its business and has become involved in one of Europe’s largest and most attractive markets in the field of infrastructure investments.
The first contract in Poland, for the construction of the bridge over the River Soła and the Żywiec by-pass, was signed in October 2013 (11 million euros). The next step in the company’s development consisted of entering the railways market by signing the contract to plan and execute the works on section 201 of the Gdynia–Kościerzyna railway line (25.2 million euros) in May 2014. In July of the same year, another contract was signed to design and construct railway line no. 140/158 in the section between Rybnik and Chałupki (42 million euros).
The next step in the company’s development in the Polish market was the signing of the contract for the execution of a section of the S8 dual carriageway in January 2015: from Zambrów to the boundary with the province of Podlachia, with a value of 108.3 million euros.
Rubau Polska is currently actively involved in submitting tenders in the Polish market to construct roads and motorways, railways and for construction in general.
After working for several years in the construction sector in Poland, Rubau has become a prestigious company with a consolidated position among medium-sized companies in the construction sector.
